A curated shop of living plants, home accents, and things made to last — and a place that's grown into something more than a store.
How It Started
It began with a love of plants.
INSIDE began with my daughter, Jade. She moved home in 2020 with a dream of opening a plant store, and we took on the space the very week the world shut down — a rough, run-down interior we gutted and rebuilt into something warm and welcoming.
When Jade started a family and decided to focus her love and attention on her children, I couldn't let the store go. It gave me the chance to fulfill a dream of my own from decades earlier, one I'd happily set aside while we raised our beautiful family. So I kept Jade's love of plants at the heart of it and brought in everything I'd spent a lifetime doing: retail, visual display, the craft of making a space feel beautiful.
We held our grand opening in May of 2022. The rest we figured out the way most good things come together — trial and error, better signage, a lot of small improvements, and time, until people understood exactly who we are and what we're here for.
What We're About
We opened this store to be a city set on a hill — something that shines bright, draws people in, and gives them more than just a product. They get conversation, connection, and a place where they feel loved, accepted, and respected.

We care about delivering a great product. What we really care about is people.
INSIDE is meant to feel like a place to slow down, enjoy yourself, and feel at home — not just somewhere to buy something and leave. Some people come for a plant. Some come for a gift. A lot of people come back. What I hope everyone leaves with is the feeling that they made a friend.
That care shows up in what we carry, too. We look for things with a story behind them — fair-trade goods, natural materials, beautiful pieces given a second life — chosen by hand, one at a time.

INSIDE sits right alongside Van Dyke Hardwood Floors, my husband Randy's showroom. The two aren't just neighbors; they're a natural extension of the same idea. Randy builds gorgeous floors, the foundation of your home, and I help you figure out how to make it feel like a home.
Customers often wander in wondering about flooring and leave with a clearer sense of how their whole home could feel. "Bringing your home to life" turns out to describe both of us pretty well.
